Wall Falling Tweets

I was going through the archive of the Faceless's old tweets, all the way back from when he first created his account, and I found a few that are very interesting, and I think may give us a good idea as to how long ago the wall had been cracked.

The first few tweets were just him getting used to twitter. A lot of the tweets were very similar, THE BIG WHITE VOID THE BIG WHITE VOID THE BIG WHITE VOID. Other then that, he spent a lot of time interacting with users involved in Echo Chamber and complaining about his egg salad sandwiches being eaten.

But then this happend.

The very next tweet was about a month later and looked like this.

Then there was a bit of freaking out and more complaining about his sandwich being eaten, and then we get this.

Shortly after that, he start linking to Average Joe and the ARG begins.

There's nothing definitive, but I think it's connected. Mr. A may have been reacting to the wall cracking. But that's just my opinion.

Tried tweeting A.
Apparently no one is in the twitter box at the moment.

Aaand of course he pretends that nothing happened.

Now is my que to kick the wall and ask how I could miss that since the very beginning of the ARG. (Even though I'm pretty sure I scrolled down).

There definitely was some problem. The problem with the tweets, though, is that the timeline check doesn't hold.
Let's put it this way:

June 17th: "NEW DISCOVERIES ARE POTENTIALLY HIGH YIELD. NEW DISCOVERIES ARE POTENTIALLY HIGH YIELD. NEW DISCOVERIES ARE POTENTIALLY HIGH YIELD. NEW DISC"
June 20th: "ALL INSTANTIATIONS TO PRETEND THAT NEVER HAPPENED. ALL INSTANTIATIONS TO PRETEND THAT NEVER HAPPENED. ALL INSTANTIATIONS TO PRETEND THAT NEV"
July 12th: "Mind Screw" episode of Echo Chamber airs.
August 1st: "PLAN IS IN MOTION. ALL INSTANTIATIONS BRACE."
August 5th: Joe posts "Cat Video on the Internet".

What I'm saying is that EC season 2 hadn't even finished yet! Either the tweets reference some other in-universe events, or the ARG was already in progress.

So now is the question for the dedicated tropers with extraordinary memory: at what dates did that "Puppetmasters wanted" ad hang on TV Tropes?

UPD: Alas, the latest Web Archive entry is at 7th July (there is an ad for the Romantic False Lead episode :) ). I'll still have to rely on your extraordinary memory.

I think the "pretend that never happened" (considering it happened before Mind Screw) may have been referring to him messing up with Zack leaving Echo Chamber, and the infinite nesting of the problem.

"All instantiations brace", on the other hand-- well, a cracking of the fourth wall would seriously shake the void that's in the fourth wall. Instantiations would need to brace themselves. I think this is what we're looking for.

...Well spotted. I know there's no clear evidence in there, but this sounds to me like it could well be a sign that Mister A knows how the wall broke in the first place.

This is something I'm really starting to wish we knew, lest our children have to go through all this the way we did in twenty something years. Although actually wouldn't that just be absolutely awesome? 8-)

Nope. That's what I was talking about. Zack left on July 10th (AFTER they pretended something never happened), and this was his reaction. A week later, his "handscreen" broke down. What I'm saying is that I can't relate Echo Chamber events to the wall's breakdown.
It didn't even have to be what we think it is - who knows what emergencies can happen in the Void. And it could only mean the wall's breakdown if they had already been plotting the ARG at that time. That's why my question is important.

So in other words, it's entirely possible that the walls collapse DIDN'T actually have anything to do with Echo Chamber? Or perhaps EC only made the situation worse? Maybe EC was their attempt to FIX a problem, rather than the cause of one?

What about his "FAILURE IN ZONE TWELVE. ABORT/RETRY/FAIL ?" tweet?

Anyone has any idea on what could it be?

It happens between "BRACE NOW. BRACE NOW. BRACE NOW. BRACE NOW." and "NO EXCUSE FOR FAILURE."

Well, that's what Mr. A has been claiming all along. He knows we know about Echo Chamber, and he said something like "The crisis started by Zack is a completely different matter".
Also - I bring that up again - Tom mentioned in an interview that the Mind Screw episode was going to be the FIRST in season 3, and they only aired it because they weren't sure there will be a third season. So if they intertwined it into the ARG, it was on-the-fly thinking.

Hm, well he was certainly telling the truth about that, it seems. bad luck for them, having to deal with two serious crises at exactly the same time. But that means we're in the dark, once again, as to what exactly caused the walls to crack inthe first plqace, and while a bit of mystery is all well and good, I would also kind of like to know exactly what made it happen. if only so we can stop it happening again (I refer you to my earlier point about future generations bearing the burden of their parents. We do enough of that in this day and age, thanks >.>)

Cleverly done, and also support for the idea that the ARG will not be connected to Echo Chamber at all... the two things are completely seperate stand alones.
Although to be honest, I think it would be kind of amusing and awesome if the ARG WERE directly connected with Echo Chamber, it would be amusing to see Gurt mentioned in season three, or talk about the witch's campaign, or Don's knighthood, or something.

I know, right? :(
Maybe that's exactly why they didn't do that. Talking limes and witches would make a terrible conversation topic. :D

Heh, yeah  Though thinking on it, it would probably depend on the conversation...

Mr. Administrator: MR. PIKE, THE QUALITY OF YOUR WEBSHOW HAS BEEN STEADILY DECREASING. YOU NEED TO SHOW AN IMPROVEMENT, OR WE WILL SHUT-- WHAT!?
...
Mr. Administrator: SORRY, I WAS INTERRUPTED BY A TALKING LIME.

I believe that Continuity Nods to the ARG would indeed be neat to see in Echo Chamber, or perhaps instead, the cast could be "recruited" by Mr. Administrator to try to clean up the long-term damage of the ARG.
And, potentially, they could be monitored by Gurt while they were working instead of Mr. Administrator.

Well i think this i all just a set up. First of all it is an ARG, just fake as other things on the internet, Such as Creepypasta, Copypasta, And fan fiction, I think we should stop working for mr. A and just go on with our daily life. We all have social lives.

If this is no joke. You better be showing me pictures of it happening or it is not real :| Deadline of evidence ends at November 21'st

So basically you are saying that because this is a game, it isn't worth playing? I was under the impression that one PLAYED a game. You know, because that's what they are meant for.

If you believe it isn't worth playing simply because it is a game, do you them believe that fiction isn't worth reading because it is fiction? Are the only movies you watch documentaries? Are the only books you read textbooks?

Somehow I doubt that... I wonder why...

Well some games are Glitchy enough that it is not worth playing. For example, E.T for the atari 2600

I have no idea what that has to do with anything, so why don't you get back on topic? The mod has spoken.
