Theory on the object in the comic.

So I am thinking that maybe it is some kind of tool for controlling the Fourth wall. If this is going to end with a big dramatic climax how better for it to finish then a better for a tool of ultimate power. Moriarty could control the world by bringing in brute muscle from everywhere and could demand all the money in the world if he wished. Just a thought.

You mean the glowing cube with the Administrator's face?
The voices in my head tell me that we saved the world. However, they also told me that George Clooney's face is on the dollar bill, so... meh. The voices are more fun, anyway.

Ah, I see. Still, if it goes in that direction, I don't Moriarty would bring just brute strength into the equation, if any at all. He's a man to go for the brilliant and skilled, rather than muscled versions of Tweedledee and Tweedledum.

True, but I do think he would bring some muscle in. Another possibility, he brings all versions of himself into our world.

*cringes* Professor Moriarty is one thing, Jim from IT is another even less desirable one, but the both of them together just scares me.

Well to be fair, I imagine someone like Moriarty would WANT people less intelligent than himself, he'd want people competent enough to do the job, but stupid enough to always follow him.
If you ever need to ask the questions "Am I needed? Should I help them?" The answer is always yes. Always.

I think it's a device for opening and closing the wall, that was stolen from Mr. A by Moriaty. Poirot, Holmes, Cheshire and Don Quixote were there at the time, and tried to stop him. The device overloaded and blew up, smashing the wall and sending the characters into the real world. To help them, SOMEONE gave them instructions on how to use a laptop, and about the real world.

Or it could be a device for smashing the wall.

That would mean fiction itself was....

Oh damn it all this was all started by Mr. A writing a fanfiction because he was bored didn't it? All of these characters get together and he accidently uses his powers to make it real.

...That is actually a hopeful thought. if there's a device for BREAKING the wall, then surely there's possibly a device for repairing it?

WARN THEM FANFICTION AUTHORS NOW!

ESPECIALLY the ones who do crossovers!
They sometimes say, "the place where I am right now was circled on a map for me"... Unfortunately, I kind of suck at orienteering.
