So, the Cat has tweeted a HuffPo link (and the image of the cat in the article is staring to my soul, I'm a little frightened). Probably a coincidence, but I just find it suspicious that he'd tweet about something unrelated to all this. Any thoughts, or am I reading into this too much?

Pretty sure it's just for lulz, because they can't very well fabricate a Huffington Post article, and it didn't mention polydactyly.
But don't worry. You haven't NEARLY reached the heights (or depths) of reading too much into something that can sometimes go on here. Trust me. Nobody bring up my Cake guy obsession. Ever again.

You're probably right, though I haven't combed through everything yet

Still, it's pretty much definite now that Metaneko is in at least one shard.

I consider this a victory for my first hour on the forum.

Metaneko's been known to be involved in all sorts of madness-- for one thing, trolling a certain secure chat group. (For another, possibly trolling a certain less-secure chat group.)
Just because he mentioned it does NOT mean we can trust it.
