He is being straightforward.
Somebody has clearly hijacked his account.

If the Cat knows how to willfully generate echoes, we REALLY need to ask him how.

Maybe the riddle is hidden within the echo. On a side note, Company of Myself is a flash game.

Company of Myself is a fantastic Flash game, but it's probably not relevant here.

Did you play it to the end? It has a pretty comprehensive explanation of everything that just happened.

(And we should probably continue this conversation somewhere else, lest we derail any farther.)

I usually get bored by the level I have to use him as a bridge. It's kinda hard, and until that point I don't see anything new. I know I should play it until the end, because it had a prequel, but I'm too lazy to do it :P ButI still want to.

Yet again, Metaneko tweets like the confusing little bugger he is.

"tdnfhakaaaahfybwsmnbhjvi /3"

"Oh my. It would appear that I stepped on the keyboard. Clumsy me. That certainly hasn't happened before, now has it?"

It's a code. It has to be a code.

Yeah, there's a name for that kind of code (if ti's the kind of code I'm thinking), but we need the keyword for it.

I found a random encoder/decoder site online.
I'm just going to run it through random things and post the results. (Watch for edits)

Frequency Analysis with forced a-z

The cat has received a weird image.
I won't take this now, as I'm about to leave, but here is what I'd do with it:
  1. Check for rarjpegs.
  2. Check for EXIF metadata.
  3. Try to raise the brightness.
  4. Try to raise the contrast (in case it contains a binary steganographic message)
  5. Fiddle around with the message itself.

HOLY SHIT a new idea.
Pan has received a message of his own, right?
Screw going home. I'll try to combine them.

EDIT: Never mind. Solved already. Check Pan's thread. (SPOILER: It's a link to Cabal's chat ^_^)
