Does he know more than we think?

Postby RotavatoR on Sun Oct 21, 2012 7:37 pm

I've been thinking. (Duh. It's what we do here.)

The cat seems to be very omniscient. He also seems to be very mad. Both of those combined allow him to know about his fictional nature without getting a breakdown or something. He knows about the fourth wall, and he probably knows more about its cracks than anyone else.

But I think he knows even more than that. If he is indeed the Cheshire Cat from Alice in Wonderland, then it would be very in-character for him if he knew about the ARG. As in, he would know that all this is just a game.

I sincerely hope I have blown your minds. Please discuss

(if he reads this, it won't matter much, because he's mad anyways)

I think he knows exactly that, not less.

He certainly acts like he thinks it's all a game.
Why are we even arguing about a dead fictional dude and hypothetical ninjas?

I think the idea behind Cheshire is that he is, simply, batsh*t insane. Therefore, what he knows or does not know doesn't matter, as he simply does not care. His awareness is dificult to pin down, he may know even everything, but only 'know' whatever suits his mood at the moment.

I think he probably knows how this began, hiw it will end and everything in between. I mean he knew the exact place LJS's bottle washed up.

And insane is only a word. He makes it into an artform.

Yeah, I guess you're right :P This topic deflated pretty quickly, sorry
In hindsight, I don't know why I brought this up x)
But if he really does know about the ARG, that means that he knows he's still not in the real world. It also means that he knows more than cAke...

Just a random fictional character, who knows more than anyone else. A god, basically

It boggles my mind :?

That's the power of insanity for you.
Think about it. Insanity is innocence, hence redemption. Is easy to reach redemption?

I think his definition of madness is rather different. He's frighteningly intelligent. You know, for a cat.

But do you guys think his insanity turned him from a regular cat into a "Metaneko"?
I don't see how that would work...
(He probably knows more than we do. We, as in actual persons, not as in metaguards  )

The voices in my head tell me that we saved the world. However, they also told me that George Clooney's face is on the dollar bill, so... meh. The voices are more fun, anyway.

METANEKO! You rule! BWHAHAHAH!
Normal people are the easiest to manipulate. Too smart and they have an annoying tendency to catch wind of your plans, too dumb and, in the words of a certain pirate, "You can never tell when they are about to do something incredibly...stupid."
