Bah, kids these days. In my day, when your first exposure to anime had a 50% chance of being Legend Of The Overfiend, you developed Squick Armor (or quickly learned how to apply Brain Bleach) or you stopped being a geek. Now, all you need is the mere suggestion of what Mr. A does with his tie, and you're all squirming.

Actually, on the main topic, what did folks who were thrown into these ships think of them?
I smiled when the wall was built, for I knew we were creating something incredible. And I smiled when it cracked, for the world would soon see what we had wrought.

Sorry for the derail, but I'm really laughing at that. Probably more than I should. You have just taught me the term I've been looking for!

So, I guess I'm one of those people involved in a ship. :?
I'm not really that uncomfortable with it actually. At first I was a bit confused, but that was because of an overload of new information (what and ARG is, what shipping is, etc.) As the game progressed, and I began speaking with A more, I found the idea more and more interesting.
As a character, it would be absolutely hilarious for A to...uh....continue... with whatever he's doing.

I wouldn't mind, and in fact, I'd probably join in.

Eli x Mr A.

It's just so funny and unexpected

I could also mention the time on chat where I, Qara and and Eli became an OT3 temporarily but that would hardly count

It was you, Mr. A, and Eli, JR. I was the one doing the shipping/trolling.

Guys, Serenity is obviously the best ship.
Oh, uh, the other kind of ship... well, to be fair, I started Eliministrator because I really saw it... saw something. Maybe her tweets were just hilarious enough to get more of a reaction out of A than he generally gave.

As to what shipped people thought... well, I was basically just laughing my head off about Qrad for the entirety of its existence, while at the same time going 'whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat'.
(speaking of, I still have questions about that which I shall take to the proper thread, once I'm more-caught-up)
Why are we even arguing about a dead fictional dude and hypothetical ninjas?

Glad to know that :D

Because I kind of shipped that a bit...
Why should we do the right thing?
-Well... because it's the right thing to do, there's no other good reason.

Am I a bad guy trying to be good, or a good guy trying to convince himself that he's not the bad guy?

Yeah, that last part was what I thought.

Serenity x Millenium Falcon?

Now that's a Cool Ship!
Or, wait, am I thinking of Crack Pairing? Or Cargo Ship?

...why am I even awake and nowhere near caught up I think I just broke my own brain...

So, with that said, why on Earth would anyone want to be paired with him?

Because he's standing around naked all the time? It does make things easier if you're obsessed with efficiency.

I have no idea why people are squicked out by that. This reasoning is logical and full of win.

You have opened a whole new world of ... whatever it is. :o If anyone needs to abide the Rule 34, you know where to start.

Even though I support the Witch x Mr. A ship... C'mon, guys, we all know the how it really works. It's Mr. A x Mr. A x Mr. A, ad infinitum. I mean, he's an entity hanging around in the endless void for all eternity with clones of himself. Given the infinite time (which he has), it is bound to happen.
And when prompted, Mr. A didn't say "No". And even if he would, it's always possible to play the "it depends on the instantiation" card.

That works in print, but unless we put an umlaut over the 'e', I have no CLUE how to pronounce that. :?
